BDG Greenhouse

BDG Greenhouse news means starting the season off with its small greenhouse all fresh and clean inside and out.

Wally Prestbo with the assistance of Jim Downing, Ralph Federspiel and Tom Sherrard took off the old cover and put on the new. Wally and Jim will install the lights and it will be ready for planting tomatoes Wednesday, April 6.

This small greenhouse is used for growing tomatoes for the annual plant sale and for garden annuals.  The city of Bellevue has closed their greenhouses for the next two years and the BDG smaller one will be used for growing 1,000 tomato plants for the plant sale plus the garden annuals this year.  CUH greenhouses will be used for the other plant sale tomatoes.

Kudos to Wally and his team!
