Board Member Liaisons
Board member Liaisons provide outreach to our clinics and gardens working to facilitate communications between the Board and the Master Gardener program teams which the Foundation supports. Liaisons work to provide a sense of the role of the Foundation and how it can support these volunteers in their team roles.
To achieve these goals, the Board Liaisons will:
- Periodically visit the clinic or garden or contact the leader to get a better sense of how things are going in that program;
- Work with the leader to determine any special needs for that clinic or garden;
- Identify ways the Foundation can support the clinic or garden;
- Assist the clinic or garden in applying for additional funds, if applicable, such as a Request for Funds (RFF); and
- Provide information about the role of the Foundation and updates on the Foundation.
